How to Access our Conferences
Good News! You do NOT need to be on the computer to be in class. Phone Alone is Fine!
More good news – SKYPE works fine (use the dial pad to enter the phone number and then the access code). So do cell phones and land lines of course. Vonage, Magic Jack and other VOIPS don’t work well.
Our classes are dynamic and fun because we are using the most cutting edge technology – a Conference System call Maestro Conference. It is a little different from standard conference call systems. So please read this carefully:
Our classroom is basically a fancy conference call line that lets us have breakout rooms. If you want to simply be on the phone without seeing anything on the computer, that is totally fine. As we talk you can view a dashboard on the web to chat, mute, etc. I also stream our PDF book, slides and other visual aids. I personally think it helps to see and hear at the same time, so I recommend you use the computer along with the phone if you can.
If you do use the computer you will have one, and sometimes two browser windows open.
- The main window will be your Personal Dashboard from Maestro Conference. Maestro gives you a link to this when you register with them… see below…..
- The second window will show the PDF, slides and other helpful things – basically it streams from my desktop. Once we start the call I will send the link for this window to your Personal Dashboard. We don’t know what it is in advance – it’s stealth.
Registering with Maestro Conference -
In your class confirmation you got a link to maestroconference.com/xxxx. It is unique for your class. Click on it to register for the particular class that you signed up for (preferably BEFORE class starts 
) When you do this, Maestro Conference will give you three pieces of information. You will see these on the confirmation page, and you will get an email.
- A conference phone number to call (one of 20 that MC uses)
- YOUR PERSONAL ACCESS CODE (critical for you to save!)
- A website to click at meeting time, called your Personal Dashboard, where you can see the chat, and any links I may want you to go to. You will got to this page IF you are going to use the computer to help you follow along with the call.
HELP! Class is starting! I can’t find my information!
FORGOT THE PHONE AND WEBSITE? No worries. Use this default phone number (510) 281-1111. and enter your PERSONAL ACCESS CODE. You are in the call!
Get into your Personal Dashboard by going to http://maestroconference.com/dashboard Put in this phone number: (510) 281-1111 and YOUR PERSONAL ACCESS CODE. Bingo!
