NC was worried about Sally, an older dog who was having difficulties. Sally barely got around, walked stiffly, and needed help getting into the car. Also, she has been experiencing some skin problems and food allergies. NC would like to find out how she is feeling. What can be done to make her happy and more comfortable? What does she think about dying, is she scared? NC asks: “Do I need to think of having her put down yet or does she still have a lot of life left?”

Carla’s journey for Sallie:

“I took her on a trip to the upper world where she saw the place she would go and met the dogs she will be with. She was THRILLED and hardly wanted to come back. But she really wants to be with you for more time, so she came home. When her time finally comes the lead dog spirit will come to her with a special crystal collar and ask her to come with him. She will tell you by not wanting to get up at all, nor eat. She will look at you with loving eyes, just to say she loves you. You will know the time is right. She may actually just pass in her sleep. She loves you very much. Sally is in a good place emotionally and will let you know when it is time for her to go – so you can have a lot of comfort in that. When you feel it is time – IT IS!”

NC is happy when Sallie rallies:

“I just wanted to let you know Sally is doing great. She has a lot more energy and gets excited about going for our morning walks again. She is eating good and her quality of life has really improved. I am sure it is a combination of no longer fearing death, her new diet, and perhaps just knowing how much we love her.

It is we who are honored by your help. We will always be grateful!”

DS had lost her beloved Wolf/Shepherd, Savage at age 15. She wanted to know if Savage will ever return to her (reincarnated as a new dog).

Carla journeyed to Savage:

“Savage is your power animal, and she came to you as a wolf/dog so that she could be incarnated next to you and keep you safe. She was concerned that you needed hands on protection, so she incarnated for you. She does plan to send you one of her children in the form of a puppy. It will be a Malamute and it will look something like a wolf pup. Very cute! She will tell you about it
in a dream or a journey.” How lucky you are to have had your power
animal incarnate for you. This is very rare.
DS writes back:
“Thank you so
much, Carla. The tape is very interesting. I’ve listened to it several
times now. I’ve certainly had many similar experiences to what you were
describing…… last year I had a past life reading done, and was
told there was something about a German shepherd … it wasn’t clear what,
but …..? Thanks again for the wonderful birthday present you didn’t
know you were giving me!!!!”

Our Workshop in Hawaii

The Journey with the Reef workshop turned into an initiation for me as the Ancient Spirits of Hawai’i gave me precise instructions for proper conduct and warned me of the consequences if we didn’t do things in the way they prescribed. There really are rules! But before we had a night of instructions, we celebrated a wedding in old authentic Hawai’ian style. First of all I would like to say how excited I am that we will be hosted at a lovely home in Kona – (see the pics.) Thank you Dana for sharing your fabulous home with us! The first two days will be all about learning to journey and talk with animals, and of course connecting with our personal helping spirits. We will dance our animals and learn how to get their advice for ourselves and others. The second day we ask the teachers to help us with more advanced animal communication requests: Discovering hidden things about an animals unknown past, and connecting with animals who have died. And we will finish the day learning how to request a simple open ended healing for an animal, guided by our compassionate spirits, of course!

Day three we hit the water! We will visit a a great snorkeling beach and connect with the animals and plants there up front and in person. Then we will journey to them and meet their spirits, and the ancient spirits who will bring us amazing lessons about all of life. It is such a joy. If we are lucky we will meet Dolphins. If we are luckier we will meet Parrot Fish, and if we are even luckier still, we will be given a sweet teaching by one of the tiny and exquisite Wrasses. My deepest hope is that we are graced by the spirit of Coral itself, the backbone of the reef and life herself. (just think for a moment about all the places adorned with fossils from previous coral communities, places like Carlsbad caverns, for example.) Wow!

I promise you will meet Parrot Fish, Wrasses and Coral. We will just have to sing the Dolphins in to accomplish the first in person. Their spirits will be there in our journey’s though.

Monday I was rehearsing it with my workshop partner, Sue DeLamater, and one of my advanced students, Lois. We are doing the workshop at Sue’s place of employ, Free Arts AZ. http://www.freeartsaz.org/
We had just linked the spiral to many other sacred places on earth, and had called in the 4 directions in this valley and their power. We were located at Central and C-Back, the center of the valley. Perfect! We walked the spiral and build a cairn in the middle with stones connected to the other power spots. Then we took a tea break and the phone rang. It was my father gasping. No blood pressure. Voice so weak all he could say was “I’m really sick”. He is a heart patient. I went into the circle and asked that power to go to him and sit on him. I saw the brilliant white center of the spiral go over him. Took 3-5 seconds. Then I called 911 and that took 3 minutes. Then I called him back to say the ambulance was on the way, and he said, “Oh I feel much better now! The neighbors will be concerned about the emergency trucks.” (as if to say, “do I really need them?”.) He told me later that he felt a wave come over him, and all of a sudden he felt almost well again!

The ambulance did come, and he went into the hospital for many tests. They found nothing significant wrong with him.

The spiral is so incredibly powerful once the power has been called in in a sacred way. Thank you spirits!
